Alien bacteria, able to grow at 400 degrees Celsius.. They would be outside of the known temperature regions, and outside of our known ecosystem; hence I suggested the name Exothermophiles for this class of organisms. Dr. Godfrey Louis, claimed to have found such bacteria, of cometary origin in red rain in India, and he may have, but his experiments were not conclusive.. and others haven't been able to demonstrate growth, for as far as I know.. Recently hid did finally publish his first paper on these Cells.. They are of biological origin, and it is an interesting phenomenon, but they are not yet proven to be of extraterrestrial origin..
